Video & On Demand - Nuri Bilge Ceylan Collected Films 1995-2018 (Blu-ray box set)
Nuri Bilge Ceylan’s first feature, Kasaba, premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 1998, but it was when his third feature, Uzak, won the Cannes Grand Prix in 2003 (as well as the Best Actor prize for the two leads) that he became more widely known. Since then in Cannes he has won the Grand Prix a second time for Once upon a Time in Anatolia, Best Director for Three Monkeys, the FIPRESCI prize for Climates and finally the Palme d’Or for Winter Sleep in 2014. The 8 features he has made so far over these 20 years, the last 4 co-written with his wife Ebru, have propelled him to the ranks of the very top film directors working today. Kasaba, Clouds of May, Uzak, Climates and Three Monkeys plus his first short, Koza, are now being released in this collection on Blu-ray for the first time. Once upon a Time in Anatolia, Winter Sleep and The Wild Pear Tree make up this set of his complete films to date. The collection includes several interviews with Nuri Bilge Ceylan made over the course of his career, plus many making-of documentaries.
The 4 discs for Kasaba, The Clouds of May, Uzak and Climates are region-free.
The 4 discs for Three Monkeys, Once upon a Time in Anatolia, Winter Sleep and The Wild Pear Tree are region B.
